To achieve optimal results, it is crucial to follow the given pre-care and after-care instructions. The skin at the treatment area must be healthy, strong, and non-sensitive/non-irritated. Pre Care
BROWS
- Do not consume alcohol, caffeine (coffee/tea), Vitamin E or fish oil supplements, Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Niacin, or Advil 24 hours prior to your appointment.
- Do not exercise or do any activity that will result in excessive sweating on the day of your appointment.
- No tanning/intense sun exposure, tinting/lamination, tweezing, waxing, or electrolysis 1 week prior.
- No botox/fillers, antibiotic/steroid medications, and Vitamin A/Retinol (skincare & supplements) 1 month prior.
- Arrive at your appointment with your regular makeup and brows filled in so we can see how you like them/used to having them look.
LIPS
- Do not consume alcohol, caffeine (coffee/tea), Vitamin E or fish oil supplements, Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Niacin, or Advil 24 hours prior to your appointment.
- Do not exercise or do any activity that will result in excessive sweating on the day of your appointment.
- No tanning/intense sun exposure 1 week prior.
- No botox/fillers, antibiotic/steroid medications, and Vitamin A/Retinol (skincare & supplements) 1 month prior.
- Exfoliate & moisturize your lips everyday for 3-5 days prior. Lips should be smooth and soft.
- If you have ever had a cold sore (even as a child) you MUST contact your doctor for antiviral medication and take 48 hours prior to prevent an outbreak
- Bring your favorite lip tints/colors to use as reference.
EYELINER
- Do not consume alcohol, caffeine (coffee/tea), Vitamin E or fish oil supplements, Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Niacin, or Advil 24 hours prior to your appointment.
- Do not exercise or do any activity that will result in excessive sweating on the day of your appointment.
- No tanning/intense sun exposure 1 week prior
- No botox/fillers, antibiotic medications, and retinol 1 month prior.
- Discontinue use of lash growth serums such as Revitalash at least 2 weeks before and after procedure.
- Lash extensions must be removed before procedure and eyelid skin must be in healthy condition.
- If you wear contacts, you will be asked to remove them before treatment
Aftercare
BROWS
- Keep the treated area as dry as possible during the healing period.
- Apply a THIN layer of ointment as recommended by the artist at your appointment
- Keep the area clean and dry during the healing process (7-10 days), this includes no exercising, tanning, swimming, use of spas/saunas.
- Avoid direct sunlight exposure for at least 1 week
- Do not use exfoliating creams, makeup, tint, wax, or thread the area until it is completely healed.
- Sleep on your back or with your face off of your pillow.
- When the flaking process starts, it is important to never pick/pull scabs off prematurely.
LIPS
- Keep the treated area as moisturized as possible using the ointment provided by your artist
- Apply a THIN layer of provided ointment as needed (3-5 times daily) to prevent lips from drying out
- Keep the area clean during the healing process (7-10 days), this includes no exercising, tanning, swimming, use of spas/saunas.
- Avoid direct sunlight exposure for at least 1 week.
- Carefully brush your teeth with your mouth wide-open to avoid touching the paste and water.
- Avoid spicy and acidic foods. Eat carefully so that food will not touch the lips.
- Hot, colorful, and/or alcoholic drinks should only be consumed through a straw.
- Do not exfoliate or apply makeup until completely healed.
- When the flaking process starts, it is important to never pick/pull scabs off prematurely.
EYELINER
- Dry healing is recommended for eyeliner procedures. Be sure to keep the eyes dry during the healing process and avoid soaking the eye area in water (7-10 days).
- Keep the area clean and dry during the healing process (7-10 days), this includes no exercising, tanning, swimming, use of spas/saunas.
- Avoid direct sunlight exposure for at least 1 week.
- Do not apply makeup/creams to the eye area until it is completely healed.
- Do not get lash extensions or lash lifting/tinting services until eyeliner is completely healed.
- Do not use lash growth serums for at least 2 weeks after eyeliner procedure.
- When the flaking process starts, it is important to never pick/pull scabs off prematurely.
